Eesti Energia’s goal is to achieve a carbon-neutral chemical industry based on a circular economy by 2040. The production of liquid fuels will be gradually replaced by the production of chemical compounds needed for other industries. Next to oil shale, waste plastics and waste tyres will be used as raw materials.
Our chemical industry based on the circular economy will be almost completely waste-free, as the by-product of each stage will be a raw material for a next product, including CO2. The transition to a chemical industry also means new competence, well-paid jobs and income for the whole of Estonia.
Eesti Energia is looking for a
R&D PROCESS ENGINEER (oil-refinery or chemical engineer)
Expectations for candidate:
- BA degree in chemical process engineering or in similiar field;
- working experience in oil-refinery or chemical plant process unit (hydro-processing, hydrogen production, FCC, CCR etc);
- spoken and written English language skill at least B2 level;
- computer skills: MS Office, knowledge of ASPEN and Solidwork is an advantage;
- teamwork oriented, excellent communication skills, and you enjoy working with international colleagues.
